Day 01 : Arrive Banglore
Arrive at Bangalore, India's garden city with
extensive parks and markets. It is delightful mix of
traditional and modern It is an ideal place for a trip
around the state of Karnataka and spend the day sight
seeing or at leisure. Overnight at Bangalore.
Day 02 : Banglore
Day sightseeing or at leisure at Bangalore.
Overnight at Bangalore.
Day 03 : Banglore/Mysore
Today you will make a drive towards Mysore, en route
visit Srirangapatanam and Somanathpur. Stay at Mysore.
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04 : Mysore
Today you will make a sight seeing of Mysore. The
city of Mysore still retains an extraordinary charm that
never fails to charm. Sights include The Mysore Palace,
one of the largest of its kind in India, the Art
Gallery, Brindavan gardens etc. Overnight Stay at Mysore.
Day 05 : Mysore/Mudhumalai
Today you will make a drive towards Mudhumalai, a
wild life sanctuary where you'll find herds of
elephants, small groups of deer, the Sambar and the
barking deer. This sanctuary is remarkably rich in Bird
life. The sanctuary is excellent for wild life viewing
and has facilities for visitors to go to the forest
either on elephant back or in vehicles. Overnight stay
at the Resort in Mudhumalai.
Day 06 : Mudhumalai
Spend the day exploring the surrounding areas like
the Moyar Waterfalls, Ombetta swamp, Theppakadu Elephant
camp, etc. Overnight stay at the Resort in Mudhumalai.
Day 07 : Mudhumalai/ooty
Today you will make a drive to Udhagamangalam (Ooty).
The beautiful hill station established by the British in
the early part of the 19th century. A fine retreat from
the heat of the plains, Ooty offers scenic beauty and
relaxed ambience. Overnight stay at Ooty.
Day 08 : ooty/Thrissur
Today you will make a depart to Thrissur, known as
the cultural capital of Kerala and check in at the
Hotel.
Day 09 : Thrissur
Today you will make a Visit to the Kerala
Kalamandalam. (The Kerala Kalamandalam at Cheruthuruthy
is the seat of, renowned the world over for its
Kathakali training centre. The music and dance academy
was founded by the famous poet, Vallathol Narayana Menon.
Training in Kathakali, Mohiniyattom, Thullal and other
traditional art forms are imparted here. Cultural
programmes can be arranged here). Overnight stay at
Thrissur.
Day 10 : Thrissur/Cochin
Today you will make a Depart to Cochin. In the
evening spend your time enjoying the elaborate
preparations and enactment of Kathakali (A traditional
Keralan dance form depicting episodes from the Indian
puranas) and Overnight at Cochin.
Day 11 : Cochin
Today you will maake a sightseeing of Cochin
featuring the following attractions. The Jewish
synagogue (the oldest in India with features like Great
scrolls of the Old Testament, Hebrew inscriptions on
stone slabs, gold and silver crowns, blue willow
patterned floor tiles in which each tile is unique),
Dutch palace (A beautiful palace built by the Dutch for
Maharaja of Cochin in Keralan Style Architecture), St.
Francis Church (India's oldest European church), Chinese
fishing nets, Jew street and then spend around Cochin
city shopping for Handicrafts, Antiques and other
traditional goods. Overnight stay at Cochin.
Day 12 : Cochin/Munnar
Today in the early morning you will make a drive
towards Munnar, to check in by lunchtime at Munnar. Free
at the resort.
Day 13 : Munnar
Early morning depart to Rajamalai to enjoy the
serene atmosphere at the highest peak of Kerala the
Anamudi and to watch the rarely seen species of Nilgiri
Thars. Return to hotel for breakfast. Sight seeing trip
to Mattupetty and rest of the day free for shopping.
Overnight at Munnar.
Day 14 : Munnar/Thekkady
After breakfast checkout and proceed by road to
Thekkady check-in at a hotel in Thekkady. At leisure in
the afternoon. Ovenight at Hotel.
Day 15 : Periyar
Today in the early morning boating at the Periyar
Wild life sanctuary. After Elephant ride, proceed to
Kumarakom en route visiting the Kottayam "Valiappalli"
and "Cheriyappalli" two churches, which are around 400
years old. Stay at Kumarakom.
Day 16 : Kumarakom
Today you will be board on the Houseboat. Enjoy the
cruise from Kumarakom to Alumkadavu (near Quilon), in a
journey that takes 2 nights and 3 days. The cruise takes
you through narrow canals with bustling village life on
either side, the main occupation of the people is
fishing or farming. The cruise takes you through
KUTTANAD in Alleppey, known as the Rice Bowl of Kerala
where farming is done below sea level. Also an
experience is the Coir Industry where you can witness
the process of coconut Husk being converted to various
products which are later exported to various parts of
the world. Overnight stay in the Houseboat.
Day 17 : On Boat
Houseboat journey, Overnight stay in the Houseboat.
Day 18 : Boat/Kovalam
Check out of the Houseboat in the evening and
proceed to Kovalam Beach Resort and check in at a
resort. Overnight at the resort.
Day 19 : Kovalam
Today you will be free for Leisure. Overnight at the
resort.
Day 20 : Kovalam/Trivandrum
You can either continue staying at the resort at
your expense or check in to a resort at Kovalam or a
hotel in Trivandrum or transfer to the Trivandrum
Airport, for which you will be given the best
assistance
